Who are we?
We are just a bunch of normal, everyday people who meet together for church at the Richard Rushton Centre in Gosnells.
Why are we here?
To love God, to learn about God and to love you.
What do we believe?
We believe the Bible is totally the inspired and correct Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15-17,2 Peter 1:21).
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (John 10:30, Matthew 28:19).
We believe that Jesus Christ was God and man (John 10:30), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23,
Luke 1:34-35), His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), His miracles (John 2:11), His death (1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9), His resurrection (John 11:25, 1 Corinthians 15:4), His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19), His personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:14-16).
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit that by living in a Christian, they are able to live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30, Ephesians 5:18)
We believe that we, as Christians, are examples of the love of God in this world. It is this (agape) love that we desire to possess and without which we have no right to cal ourselves Christians. (1 John 4:16-17).
We believe that God has given us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11), we are not a hopeless or lost generation, but through Jesus, we are a generation full of hope and a glorious future.
What is the church like?
You'll see people from all kinds of backgrounds, race and culture...from skate and surf to business shirt and pants, young and old.
In our Sunday service it is our aim to give God control of the way things are done, decently and in order (1 Corinthians 14:40), not restricting the work of the Holy Spirit. We must decrease so Christ must increase. Generally this is what happens...
Worship=Expressing our love to God.
The Bible(the studying and reading of)=God expressing His heart and His love to us.
Hanging out=A great time of hanging out, getting to know each other, encouraging one another.
